Guest & Contractor Safety, Violence & Harassment Policy Agreement

Purpose

To maintain a safe, respectful, and productive work environment, all guests and contractors entering the plant at Oxford Pallet & Recyclers Ltd. must review and agree to the following safety rules and code of conduct.

1. General Safety Rules

• All guests and contractors must check in with a supervisor or designated staff member before entering the plant.

• Safety PPE (personal protective equipment), including safety glasses, safety boots, and high-visibility clothing, must be worn at all times.

• Follow all posted signage and floor markings.

• Do not enter restricted areas unless authorized and accompanied by a staff member.

• No use of mobile phones or other distractions while walking through the facility.

• Always maintain awareness of your surroundings—forklifts, machinery, and equipment are in constant operation.

• Report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to a supervisor.

• Smoking or vaping is only permitted in designated areas.

2. Violence & Harassment Policy

Oxford Pallet & Recyclers Ltd. is committed to a zero-tolerance approach regarding workplace violence and harassment. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Violence: Any act of physical aggression or threat thereof.

• Harassment: Any unwelcome comment, conduct, or behavior—verbal, physical, or visual—that demeans, humiliates, or embarrasses a person.

Examples of prohibited behavior:

• Threats, yelling, or intimidation

• Offensive jokes or gestures

• Unwanted physical contact

• Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, age, disability, or any protected status

3. Consequences of Non-Compliance

Failure to comply with this policy may result in:

• Immediate removal from the premises

• Termination of work or visit privileges

• Possible reporting to authorities if behavior warrants

4. Acknowledgement & Agreement

I, the undersigned, have read and understand the above Safety, and Violence & Harassment Policy. I agree to abide by the rules and expectations set out in this document during my visit or work at Oxford Pallet & Recyclers Ltd.
